We are living through an at once beautiful and horrifying time. Thousands are losing life while millions are learning, growing, and gaining a new attitude to their essence. At once, we are anxious, we are terrified, and yet we are love, we are solidarity and we are softness. Nothing has ever united us as such. Never has the world had one common enemy, one common truth, one common prayer. We are unlearning. Unlearning routine, relationships, time, putting the incessant rhythms to a stand-still – to facilitate the coming, the budding of forever-old rhythms, rhythms of love, of bounteousness, rhythms of goodwill and unity.

We are millions, emitting hopeful thoughts out to our universe. We have never been so conscious, so awake. This sense of alertness may come from a feeling close to angst, but we are alert nonetheless. We are awoken from our dormant selves, and truly tapping into the basis of humanity. We are tuning into each other, all over the world, sharing one same emotion. We realise finally that our art is to be shared, our words made to heal, our song made to soothe. We are mourning for our common losses, and utterly thankful for our healers, our researchers and our guardians. We are bonded by metaphorical hands, as one. So far apart, so secluded, yet never closer. Mother earth has sent us to our room to think, and soon enough we learn her teaching: Love, is everything. And so we let this feeling rise into ourselves, as we spend the time with loved ones, as we finally meet neighbours on the opposing balcony, as we see helping hands all over and we understand we are all the same, and we are all beings of love.

What is happening – you ask. These are times of dreary darkness, but also a long-needed stop, a long-needed stick in the wheels for this world who does not take the time to think. This is a time to ponder, to learn, to grow, this is a time to rethink what we take as granted, this is a possibility for change. Most importantly, this is a time for nature to fill her beautiful lungs with healing. This is a time to be thankful, for the beauty we are experiencing as we are moving and dancing into the storm, from the warmth of our homes. - Let us breathe love -
